E’ online il sesto rapporto “Illuminare le periferie. Gli esteri dimenticati dai Tg italiani”, un’analisi e una riflessione sull’andamento degli esteri nei tg italiani. Un lavoro curato dall’Osservatorio di Pavia, promosso da COSPE, USIGRai, FNSI con il contributo dell’Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo.
E’ stato presentato a Roma il quinto rapporto “Africa MEDIAta“, realizzato dall’Osservatorio di Pavia per Amref Italia. Il rapporto è basato su un’attività di monitoraggio dei media, tesa a definire quanto e come si parla di Africa sui media italiani.

An analysis of the media narrative of the migratory phenomenon in 2022 by the Carta di Roma Association and the Osservatorio di Pavia.
The Osservatorio di Pavia and Carta di Roma have organized six focus groups and fifteen in-depth interviews to explore the levels of knowledge, awareness and perception on Afrophobia and systemic discrimination against Africans or Afro-descendants in Italy.
In 2021, the attention to foreign countries in the Italian news grew. 29% of all the news was about abroad, the highest figure recorded in the last decade. Almost 1 in 3 of the news is dedicated to foreign countries, considering both foreign policy news and soft news that originates in third countries.
